If you have been in the business full time for at least three consecutive years, you could become one of approximately 15% of New Jersey licensees to hold the “Broker” designation.
The Real Estate School’s broker course includes the 90-hour General Broker course and the two required 30-hour courses on Agency/Ethics and Office Management. You’ll learn all the information you need to pass the exam, and will understand how to put that information into practice in the real world.
You are eligible to become a broker in New Jersey if you:
- Have been continually licensed and employed on a full-time basis as a New Jersey real estate salesperson for the three years preceding application for licensure with no gaps in licensing history
- Have a high school education or equivalency
- Successfully complete the pre-licensing course (90-hour General Broker course)
- Successfully complete two 30-hour courses in Agency/Ethics and Office Management
- Pass the broker license exam
